                     JSC "Lenta" is a successor of the Ribbon Factory, which was founded in December, 1961. In August of 1993 the factory was reorganized into Joint Stock Company.

                    JSC "Lenta" has a number of productions, which are connected technologically:
Ribbon production;
Braiding production;
Curtain nets production;
Dyeing production;
Production of textile fastener "Contact" ("Velcro").

                      The company produces and sells the textile haberdashery: ribbons, braids, cords, textile fasteners "Velcro", curtains, table cloths, bedspreads, wraps, napkins, flounces, curtain sets, hair curlers.

                      The company employs more than 1600 workers. The major shareholders are the company's workers (60% of shares) and the Ministry on Management and Privatization of the State Property (34,3% of shares).

                     The annual turnover of the company is about 15 million US dollars.

                     The on-going renewal of the assortment by our artists and designers, using modern computer technologies for creating new patterns, allows us to find new markets and increase the supplies to our regular partners, meeting the needs.

                     The company has got a network of the retail outlets in Minsk, Mogilev, Gomel. JSC "Lenta" also expands its commodity distribution network in Russia, CIS countries, participates in the specialized exhibitions.  

                      Due to the flexible price policy and active responding to the fashion trends our company is able to keep up with the times and adequately react to any changes.
